Depending upon the amount of moisture, mold growth can begin to occur in the affected areas within just one to three days. It is critical to have mold remediated as quickly as possible to ensure your health and safety. Our team will take the following steps to restore your property to is pre-loss condition:

1. Inspection and Assessment
• Initial Inspection: We will thoroughly inspect your property for visible signs of mold.
• Moisture Assessment: Mold thrives in damp environments. Hidden sources of water and moisture will be identified to detect the presence of mold.
2. Containment
• Setup: To prevent the spread of mold spores to other areas, containment barriers such as plastic sheeting are put up. All openings, such as doors and air vents are properly sealed.
3. Removal of Contaminated Materials
• Removal: Affected materials such as drywall, insulation, or carpeting may need to be removed and discarded if they are heavily contaminated.
4. Cleaning and Disinfection
• Cleaning: Surfaces that are not removed are cleaned with appropriate cleaning agents to remove mold and mold spores. Our goal is to salvage as much of your existing structure as possible while eliminating all traces of mold from the area.
• Disinfection: After cleaning, antimicrobials are applied to kill any remaining mold spores and prevent mold from returning.
5. Drying
• Dehumidification: Industrial dehumidifiers and air movers are used to dry out the area thoroughly. This is crucial because mold needs moisture to grow. Thoroughly drying out the environment helps prevent future mold growth.
6. Documentation
• Report: A detailed report, including photos and our estimate outlining the scope of work and methods used will be provided to your agent or adjuster. Ongoing communication and accurate, timely reporting are an important part of what we do.
